4. Summary
Nelson Mandela University won the following at the 2018 USSA Golf Tournament:
1. Winners in team stroke play event by 10 shots (best 3 from players)
2. Best individual stroke play by 5 shots.
3. Winners in the team match play event (beating Tuks 3,5-2,5 in the final).
4. The winning team members were also invited to play in the Boyd Quaich Memorial Tournament at St Andrews GC, England in 2019. Started in 1946 the Boyd Quaich Memorial Tournament is one of the most prestigious events on the international student golf calendar. Played every July over the Old and New courses in St Andrews the Boyd Quaich features players from the UK, Continental Europe, North America, Africa and Asia.
